This afternoon at the French Embassy in Madrid Isidro Fainé, Academician of the RACEF, received the award of Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour of France “for his efforts in strengthening the economic and business ties and relations between France and Spain”.
Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, considers that the Solemn Academic Session recently and jointly held in Amman by the Royal Scientific Society of Jordan, that she presides, and the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (RACEF), has opened up new channels of dialogue between both countries. The two delegations yesterday concluded a meeting, which lasted the whole week.

The President of the Royal Academy of Economics and Financial Sciences of Spain (RACEF), Jaime Gil Aluja, presented the Medal of Honor of the Royal Corporation to H.M King Abdullah II of Jordan at a private act held this morning at the Royal Palace in Amman. Gil Aluja is heading the delegation of the RACEF, wich has held a Solemn Academic Act in Amman jointly with the Royal Scientific Society of Jordan under the subject heading of "The meeting of nations through culture and science".
The President of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia or Srpska, Rajko Kuzmanovic, ended his visit to Barcelona yesterday invited by the Royal Academy of Economics and Finance (RACEF) praising the scientific, social and diplomatic role played by the Real Corporation. As the President of the political entity of Srpska, Kuzmanovic took advantage of his stay in the Catalan capital to hold meetings with the Catalan Government; as the President at the same time of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Srpska Republic, he ratified the agreement for cooperation that both Academies signed a year ago in Banja Luka.
The Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF) presented yesterday, coinciding with the inauguration of the academic year 2010-2011, the book "Seminario analítico sobre la casuística actual del derecho concursal” (Analytical seminar on the current casuistry of insolvency law), with the conclusions of the meetings on the subject held on the 4th to the 6th of last June. The presentation was made by academician José Juan Pintó Ruiz, President of the Fourth Section of the RACEF and coordinator of the seminar.
