The Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF), the Universitat d'Andorra and the Open University La Salle have concluded that the Principality should strengthen their institutional ties with the European Union to more effectively overcome the effects of the international financial and economic crisis. The three institutions held this morning at the Consell General d'Andorra (Andorran Parliement) a joint academic session which also helped the Government of Andorra, the Societat Andorrana de Ciències and the Observatori de Sostenibilitat d'Andorra.

For speakers, the challenges of the global economy, the spread of the Spanish brick crisis and the latest episodes of sovereign debt crisis advise a more institutional role in the Union.
