Jaime Gil Aluja, President of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF), will enter next March, 2 at the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in a ceremony to be held in Salzburg. The new Academician will be in class of Social Sciences, Law and Economics.

Founded in 1985, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts currently includes about 1.500 researchers from all areas of knowledge, including 29 Nobel laureates and His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, who was elected in 1992, when he was a cardinal.
