Jaime Gil Aluja receives La Clau de Barcelona

Jaime Gil Aluja, President of the Royal Academy of Economics and Financial Sciences of Spain (RACEF), has received this afternoon La Clau de Barcelona (Barcelona Key) for his leading role in the social life of the town in front of the only Spanish Royal Academy based in Barcelona. The Academicien is added to the list of prominent individuals who have received the most prestigious prize in Barcelona civil society since its inception in 1964.

Has awarded for the Vice-President of the RACEF, Lorenzo Gascón, who highlighted the tireless work of Gil Aluja in the front of the Real Corporation and scientific work "has earned him no less than 23 honorary doctorates at universities worldwide, revenue by 10 national academies of science and two nominations for the Nobel Prize in Economics".

Established by the journalist Manuel Tarin-Iglesias, La Clau de Barcelona has become the most trusted unofficial distinction of the city. La Clau is given by vote of the components of the Club of Friends of the Claude and in any case, persons holding an official position.
