Reinhard Selten, Corresponding Academician for Germany of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF) and Nobel proze in Economics in 1994 with John Harsanyi and John Nash died past August 23 in Poznan (Poland) at 85. This Real Corporation joins the mourning family and scientific community.

Selten entered the RACEF in March 2014, a commitment that did not shirk although few days before had lost his wife. He read the inaugural speech "De la teoría de la dirección del conocimiento al equilibrio de fuerzas generalizado" (From the theory of knowledge management to balance generalized forces), which exposes some of its main theories predicting the behavior of hit games that earned him the recognition of the Swedish Academy. Born in Wroclaw in 1930, when the current Polish city was part of Germany, Selten focused his scientific activity in Bonn and was the first German Nobel laureate.
