RACEF participates in the World Policy Conference

The Vice Presidente of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras os Spain (RACEF), Lorenzo Gascón, participated this weekend in the seventh edition of World Policy Conference (WPC), wich was held in Seoul. They have also been added to the appointment the Corresponding Members Thierry de Montbrial, founder and Chairman of WPC, and Mohamed Laichoubi.

Founded in 2008, the World Policy Conference (WPC) is an independent organisation which aims to contribute to improving all aspects of governance, with a view to promoting a world that is more open, more prosperous, fairer and more respectful of the diversity of States and nations. Its annual meeting brings together leading figures from all five continents to examine, discuss and suggest constructive solutions to major regional and international challenges.

Among the participants were Geun-hye Park, President of the Republic of Korea, the Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to United States; Jean-Claude Trichet, former President of the European Central Bank; Pascal Lamy, former Director of the World Trade Organisation; Robert Gates, former US Secretary of Defense. Completed the Spanish delegation the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Miguel Ángel Moratinos.
