Isidro Fainé, Comptroller of the Governing Board of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF), and César Alierta, Elect Academician, lead a tour of the Consejo Empresarial para la Competitividad (Business Council for Competitiveness) opens today for 23 European, American and Asian to sell the brand Spain. The initiative also joined Ignacio Sánchez Galán, Chairman of Iberdrola, and Juan María Nin, CEO of La Caixa.

The tour begins in Amsterdam, where the director of the Consejo and also Full Academician of the RACEF, Fernando Casado, has presented the project with former Secretary of State of Economy José Manuel Campa. Fainé and Alierta, Presidents of La Caixa and Telefónica, respectively, take the baton and will act as spokespersons for an organization that brings together the major Spanish companies.

At the Consejo Empresarial para la Competitividad are represented BBVA, Banco Santander, La Caixa, Telefónica, El Corte Inglés, Mango, Grupo Barceló, Repsol, Acciona, Inditex, Grupo Planeta, Mapfre, ACS, Ferrovial, Havas Media Group, Mercadona, Iberdrola and the Instituto de la Empresa Familiar.
