Jaime Gil Aluja, President of the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences of Spain (RACEF), will be presented next June 3  with the Gaudí-Gresol Award for Prestige and Excellence that is granted by the Gresol Foundation and the Reus City Hall in the category of Economy.

In its fourth edition, The Gaudí-Gresol Prizes will also award the work of Antonio Brufau, Executive President of Repsol-YPF and Vice-President of the Gas Natural Group (Business Leadership); Jaime Arias, currently a Management Director of “La Vanguardia” (Journalism); Jordi Bonet, works director and coordinator for the Sagrada Familia (Architecture); soprano Ainhoa Arteta (Music); author Eduard Punset (Science); Chef Santi Santamaría, owner of the restaurant El Racó de Can Fabes (Gastronomy), journalist Miquel Calçada (Television); Alejandro Blanco, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee (Sport) and the power company Endesa (Social Action).

During previous editions of the prize, awards were made to the Honorary Academy Member of the RACEF, recently deceased, Juan Antonio Samaranch and to Full Member Isidro Fainé.
