(Barcelona, 1943). BA in Political, Economic and Commercial Sciences (1964). PhD in Economics and Business Administration (1969). Professor of Economic Analysis (since 1977), now retired. Professor Emeritus of Economics and Business Ethics, holder of the Chair “la Caixa” of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance, IESE Business School, University of Navarra. He has taught at the universities of Barcelona, Malaga and Navarra. He has been Associate Dean and Secretary General of IESE Business School. He is Director of the IESE Alumni Magazine and of IESE Insight. Chairman of the Standing Committee on Professional Ethics, Colegio de Economistas de Cataluña, Barcelona. Member of the Commission on Corporate Social Responsibility and Anti-Corruption of the International Chamber of Commerce, of the editorial boards of several international journals and of the ethics committees of various business associations and financial institutions, among other charges. Author of numerous books and articles on economic theory, Spanish and international economy, ethics applied to economics and business, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
