(Barcelona, 1943). PhD in Economics, University of Barcelona (1969). Retired Professor of Fundations of Economic Analysis. Emeritus Professor of Economics and Business Ethics, IESE Business School, University of Navarra. He has been Associate Dean and Secretary General of IESE Business School. He is Director of IESE Insight, President of the Professional Ethics and Regulations Committee of the Association of Economists of Catalonia and a member of the deontological committees of various business associations and financial entities, among other positions. Gold Medal from the University of Navarra (2016) and Collegiate of Merit from the Association of Economists of Catalonia (2005). Author of numerous books and articles on economic theory, Spanish and international economics, ethics applied to economics and business, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. His most recent books are The Home. Multidisciplinary Reflections, Cheltenham, UK: Edward Elgar, 2017 (editor), Work in a Human Economy. Business and Common Good in a Changing Society, Roma: Edusc, 2018 (co-editor) and People, Care and Work in the Home, London, UK: Routledge, 2020 (co-editor).
