The President of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF), Jaime Gil Aluja, inaugurated the twentieth International Economic Conference (IECS 2013) of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania), which were entitled "Post-Crisis Economy. Challenges and Opportunities".
Eugenio Gay Montalvo, vice President emeritus of the Constitutional Court of Spain, wil enter in the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF) as Corresponding Academician to Madrid in a session to be held next May 23 in Barcelona. The new member will read the speech "Los derechos económicos y sociales de los ciudadanos ante la actual crisis económica, desde una perspectiva constitucional" (The economic and social rights of citizens in the current economic crisis, from a constitutional perspective).
Korkmaz Imanov, Corresponding Academician for Azerbaijan of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras of Spain (RACEF), has shown how democratic progress in his country has influenced the growth and diversification of the Azerbaijani economy. Imanov studied also how political corruption, social permeability, labor productivity, taxation and environmental awareness condition the evolution of the economy. [+]
